Halloween is my all time favorite holiday, and DH and I are hosting a Halloween party again this year.  We don't buy our Halloween costumes, and I'm having a hard time figuring out what to be.

Last year DH and I were an angel and a devil

The year before we were Shrek and Fiona

I want the baby to be included in the costume this year.  I saw the "bun in the oven costume" and figured we could make that, and hubby could be the baker.  Then I thought we could be "mummy and daddy" you know wrapped in gauze, curlers in my hair ect...  Then I thought maybe we could be a "barefoot and pregnant" couple, you know redneck looking.

Any ideas???  What are you ladies being for Halloween???

Thanks!  Karen

2 years ago my hubby and I were a Brick and Brick layer, last year Popeye and Olive Oil. We haven't decided on this year yet.

I love Halloween!

ME ME ME!!!!!!!!! My absolute favorite holiday as well, we always dress up and I always make it a family affair and do the entire family in theme

A few years back, before babies, I was a police officer, my husband was a detective, and the Dog was a "Bad Dog" in a stripped jail outfit . Another year I was a bunny, and my husband was Hugh Heffner. Last year we went as the Wizzard of Oz family. I was Dorothy, Matt was a scarecrow, the dog was a flying monkey, and our two month old son was a munchkin from the Lolipop Guild.

This year we're going as an Egyptian family, I love our costumes and I'm making my son's who is now 14 months old & the dogs. I am Cleopatra, my husband is Ceasar, and the baby and the dog are going to be Mummys I bought our adult costumes this year as there was a ton of theme stuff at Walmart for pretty good prices, way better stuff than I've ever seen there before.

Enjoy and let us know what you end up going with! I look forward to seeing everyone's Halloween pictures later this month!!!

I'll be dressing up as a new mom this year...hospital johnnie, bags under the eyes, IV needle marks, baby on the boob...the whole nine yards. Since Baby Boy is arriving on the 30th, he already has a few costumes to choose from. One of the benefits of being the last of my friends to have kids is that they're all about loaning/giving me things like infant Halloween costumes!

Hmmm how about you being a bag of grapes and him a bottle of wine?  or you can be chicken with an egg and he can be a rooster...?  I saw once a lady dressed up as an oven using a box and she decorated her tummy to be the roast..lol  it was adorable..  I love being creative for halloween... I will think on it and see what else I can come up with...

You could be the Octomom with him as your papparazzi. Just have a stroller with 6 babies in it because the other 8 will be in your tummy. Make sure your stomach is HUGE!

I probably won't wear a costume.... but people keep buying them for Cooper !

So far he has:

Tiger
Dinosaur
Horsie
Bumble Bee
Train Engineer
Tigger (Winnie the Pooh)

and several "Baby's First Halloween" sleepers.

He will have to do costume changes througout the day !  Good thing Halloween is  Saturday this year!

Lord woman! LOL

Me? I called my sister and asked what her daughter was last year. She said a bumble bee. I said, yep, that works, I want to borrow it. Done!

Does that mean I am lazy or cheap? Or both? Eh, Jantzen could care less, and I just want to have him in something as we take Riley around for Trick or treat.

When life hands you lemons, ask for tequila & salt and give me a call!
